Argo Park Mural

Ann Arbor, MI | 2018

I worked with artist John Bucher (see more) to propose, organize, direct, and install this mural for the organization Give 365. This area is a part of a popular rafting spot in Argo Park. The spot under the train tracks was heavily tagged and originally a different mural was attempted but not finished. The group decided to look for artists and so we came up with a proposal and design.

We immediately primed the wall and traced our design. Then we held a weekend of community volunteer days where members of the community could come and be a part of the painting. Many adults and children alike stopped by and picked up a brush. There has been a few small tagging attempts but over time has stopped.
