Alive Mural

Tecumseh, MI | 2017

I worked with artist John Bucher (see more) to propose, organize, direct, and install this mural for the City of Tecumseh. The area was originally an abandon side lot that had been refurbished into a farmers market with a covered stall space across from the mural. Once the designed was selected, we started right away with priming and tracing.

Both John and I were in college at the time so we worked on this mural when not in work or school. We organized a few community volunteer days where members of the community would come out and help paint with some light refreshments provided. We also had 4 classes of 2nd graders come out to the mural and help paint then draw their own murals on some paper.
